Art In Earl Shilton is looking forward to an exciting year this year. In April we will have been open for two years, quite an achievement in these economic times. We will be attending fairs and shows again this year, favourites from last year and hopefully some new ones, Chatsworth House show for example. We always have such a lovely time at the shows, meeting the many people who visit our stand and forming new connections with other artists and crafts people we meet there.
This year we will be introducing solo exhibitions and public completions to the Gallery and will be launching these around February/March time so if you are an artist we'd love to see your work! Watch this space...

Art In Earl Shilton had a wonderful year in 2011, we attended many shows and welcomed many new artists. We now rent out wall space at £20 for four weeks rental and are looking for more artists to join our team to help run the Gallery.

This year we are hoping to introduce exhibitions, public and private with competitions and lead-on events.

2012 will be an exciting year to be a part of Art In Earl Shilton!

Art In Earl Shilton held the first competition draw on Saturday 10th July for the chance to win a £100 voucher to spend in the gallery. Earl Shilton's Mayor Roger Ellis drew the winning ticket from the box - Nicki Williams of Earl Shilton.

Congratulations to Nicki and thank you to the Mayor for his support.

Art In Earl Shilton had a wonderful day at the Market Bosworth Country Fair on Sunday.

We had many visitors to our stall, thank you for all your kind comments and support and of course a big thank you to purchasers of our artwork.

We hope to do more shows this coming summer, so watch this space!

Art In Earl Shilton has been open since April 2010. With funding from The Earl Shilton Business Forum we have transformed an empty shop on the main road in Earl shilton into a beautiful art Gallery.

Our first few months have been very successful and a big thank you to everyone who has supported us so far.

We have many plans for the Gallery including an exhibition space upstairs for the public to exhibit their work. We have recently launched our website http://www.artinearlshilton.co.uk/ featuring all the work from our Artists and on which our original paintings can be purchased.

Hello and welcome to the first Blog from Art In Earl Shilton. We are an Art Gallery on Wood Street, Earl Shilton, Leicestershire funded by the Earl Shilton Business Forum.

We are run by 7 local Artists, Helen Watson-Jones, Julia Hunt, Trish Craddock, Spencer Burrows, Pauline Goodsell,Sue Crockett and Barbara Pitt.

We have original paintings and limited edition prints for sale along with stunning glass work and beautiful jewellery.
